Working as Clinical Pharmacist Global hospital at Chennai. Since 8th Dec 2011 to still date.

Job responsibilities

 

  • Clinical pharmacist fills prescriptions for patients according to the instructions of health care professionals.
  • Check Prescribing error, dosage error, route of administration error, time of administration error.
  • Conducts research into the treatment and prevention of diseases.
  • Help in the storage and maintenance of the Pharmacy products and if they cross the expiry date, the medicines need to be discarded
  • Training about dispensing of medicine. Medical use of the medicine etc.
  • Conducting the class room training for the supervisor, in charges and new pharmacist
    and also conducting development program for the staff.

Previous experience:

 

  • Worked as clinical pharmacist in lifeline multispecialty hospital at chennai. From 2nd Aug2010 to still date.

  • Worked as pharmacist in Sivam pharmacy for 1 year from 10th sep.2007 to 17th sep. 2008.

Job responsibilities are

  • Counsel patients and answer questions about prescription drugs, including questions regarding possible side effects or interactions among various drugs. Dispense medicines and checking expiry drugs
    • .Provide information about over-the-counter drugs and make recommendations after talking with the patient.
